Hi, I’m Morgan! I’ve always loved wildlife for as long as I can remember. Going to zoos, watching tv shows on animals, and seeing them in the wild got me to the point where I eventually started helping out at zoos myself. I started volunteering at the Central Florida Zoo when I was 12 years old and Gatorland when I was 13. At both these places I learned so much about working with captive animals, especially reptiles and birds. During the last few years, I have had opportunities to help wildlife all over the world including lions, lemurs, monkeys, birds, kangaroos, snakes, and crocs (my favorite). I love working with crocodiles and snakes because I get to share how important they are to other people so they in turn love them as well. A huge inspiration to me is Steve Irwin, who I have always admired and credit as being the greatest wildlife conservationist that has ever lived. I hope one day I can reach people like he did so that hate towards wildlife, poaching, and extinction become only things of the past.
My other love is surfing. I surf every chance I get and most of the time, the same places that are great for wildlife are also great surf spots too!
